Korean Fever still high, Kim Hyun Joong and BEAST, live in Manila!

The Korean fever has still not abated in the country. We can clearly feel the warm reception of Pinoy (Filipino) fans of Korean artists be it in drama or music. Die hard K-Pop lovers will definitely become feverish again because of the arrival of the hottest Korean idol Kim Hyun Joong along with a Korean boy group BEAST for a concert titled “K-Pop Meets P-Pop: Kim Hyun Joong and Beast Live in Manila” in Araneta Coliseum in June 19, 8 P.M.

Who will not recognize Kim Hyun Joong? Young or old will definitely recognize him as Yoon Ji Joo, the calm and charismatic gentleman of F4, in the hit Korean drama series Boys over Flowers which was shown in ABS-CBN. Who wouldn’t fall for his gorgeous looks and silent demeanor? If Geum Jan Di chose Gu Jun Pyo, definitely numerous girls would run after Ji-Hoo.

Aside from acting, Kim Hyun Joong is also the leader of SS501 which debuted in Korea in 2005. It’s astonishing that despite the language barrier, Pinoys love anything and everything K-Pop. An example on this is on how Pinoys can sing SS501’s songs Because I’m Stupid and Making A Lover that were both included in OST of Boys Over Flowers. Their song Love Like This is steadily climbing its way to the top of the MYX Chart. It climbed up to Number 8 in MYX Hit Chart (May 23-29) and Number 7 in MYX International Top 20 (May 22-28).
