It seems like an unconventional trend is seeing itself in MBC Wed-Thurs drama Playful Kiss as it records higher ratings in its rerun timing than its actual telecast.

Playful Kiss that began airing last 1st September started off with 3.5% of ratings on its Episode 1, and then subsequently 3.7% for Episode 2, 3.5% for Episode 3, 3.4% for Episode 4, 3.0% for Episode 5, and 2.8% for Episode 6.
If so, in its rerun timing, Episode 1 records 4.2%, Episode 2 records 6.6%, Episode 3 records 3.5%, Episode 4 records 5.8%, Episode 5 records 3.3%, and Episode 6 records 4.5%. Since most dramas have higher ratings for its actual telecast than its rerun, by taking into comparison with Playful Kiss, this is indeed an uncommon result.

With a rivaling against KBS2 'Baker King Kim Tak Goo' and SBS 'My girlfriend is Gumiho', it is no wonder that Playful Kiss records somewhat much lower ratings, however no matter what, with a sight where rerun ratings are recorded lower than its actual telecast is definitely unusual.

Though rerun ratings are faring better, it still does not seem like it will have a positive influence on its next actual telecast episode. Playful Kiss takes in 3%-plus of humiliating ratings during its actual telecasts, yet following to that, it continues to fall to a 2%-plus ratings with its #6 where this marks its worst result as it brings about impactful shock.

However with the nation's drama 'Baker King Kim Tak Goo' having pulled in its curtains now, we have chanced upon this opportunity to observe what kind of turn-around development it will have in store. Whether or not the audiences who have gathered for the rerun will stay tuned before the TV for its actual telecast or not - indeed, everyone is highly curious.
