Hallyu star Kim Hyun-joong, who wrapped up his promotional tour in Asia over the weekend, will start working on a new album, his agency KEYEAST said on Tuesday.
KEYEAST stated through a press release that Kim, has finished promoting his first solo mini-album “Break Down” and will now focus on creating his second mini-album.
He had promoted “Break Down” in Korea from when it was released in early June and then visited seven countries in the region including Japan, Vietnam, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and the Philippines for a month until his return home on August 27.
The record, released in several countries simultaneously, topped various online and offline charts in Asia.
Kim is also planning on holding a series of concerts throughout Asia from December of this year to early 2012, KEYEAST revealed through their statement today.
Originally a member of boy band SS501, Kim has become one of Asia’s most popular idol stars since starring in “Boys Over Flowers” with Lee Min-ho, Kim Bum and Kim Jun in 2009.
