Finished the first schedule of 2013 and returned back to the accommodation, had a simple meal, showered and laid down
Maybe it was because I was nervous and used lots of strength for the first schedule, thus I fell asleep very fast
When I became conscious, it was already 2.30am..only came to realize too late that a lot of time has passed by
I laid back trying to get back to sleep..about 10 minutes passed by??The sign of the loads of water which I drank during the concert because it was very hot and I used so much voice during then, was like returning back to the world again, so I hurriedly went to the toilet and washed up??keke With light steps, I returned back towards my bed……..
I actually like dark things so the room/interior was in pitch black with no lights on, on that day too, I had to feel my way back towards my bed to reach it
I reached my bed and just like in the AEON CF, I jumped and landed softly, buried my face into the pillow, and wanted to try to fall asleep again…
And that was just my wishful thinking………Usually the company would arrange for a double bed but this was a twin bed so…it was just jumping from the space between the two beds……….
In the early morning, I hit my head on the bedside table for the lamp between the beds, and I fell flat on the floor
It was so painful that I couldn’t even let out my voice……….then I screamed and rolled on the floor in the dark alone
Thinking back, it was really very funny so I laughed….that leaves me another scar on my arm keke
I slept again. All thanks to that, I had a bump on my head….even though it is not that visible as it is hidden under my hair..
I’m thinking how funny I am in this new year..
If there was an infrared light camera installed then, I wanted to see it once again….
This morning, I applied the toner which stylist noona gave me, on my face, it wasn’t the spray type but jet-spray type, so the toner were used on my eyes……………………..This year is really a year to look forward to..

Japan First Solo Album "UNLIMITED" Release Event :
Kim Hyun Joong (26) had a premium event in Tokyo in commemoration of the release of his first solo album in Japan, " UNLIMITED ". Though he did not sing, but music videos of "Your Story" and "Save Today" were presented. He had an interesting talk with his guests, a self-appointed cheer leader, KABA-chan as well as Kazuko Kurosawa
(female comedian).
After eleven months since his Japan debut on January 25, 2012, the first album " Unlimited " has eventually been released. Every song including the new three songs as well as Kiss Kiss/Lucky Guy and Oricon No.1 single " Heat " produced by B'z were sang in Japanese. Kim Hyun Joong talked showed his passion for the album
during the talk of the event.
1/ Music video of " Your Story " has been released.
HJ: This is the second song I sing with band style following " Heat ". I have been enhansening this song for a long time so that I can sing it in an album someday. I have some more songs which I will sing as a band music. I would like to produce these songs in future.
2/ Where the shooting took place ? ( about "Save Today ")
HJ: It took place in the set in Korea. The idea of the concept is that we go back to the past. So I moved with the double speed of the other people, while they were walking very slowly. I would like to show it if the making video is available now. It was very hard for me to sing a song very rapidly while the music being reproduced fourfold ( He tries to show how rapid he sang )
3/ The concet of the title?
HJ: It means " Unlimited potential in growing " I would like to continue to grow. That is why I choose this title.
4/ How do you review this year ?
HJ : Stretching myself out at home, I asked myself " What did I do this year ? " (the audience burst into laughter ) I would like to spend much busier days the next year.
5/ The concept of the album ?
HJ : I put my feeling " Please do not let me go which means I do not want to lose you " I do not want to lose this moment when you give a big love to me.
6/ What is your plan the next year?
HJ : I am going to start 2013 with Japan nation-wide tour. I also plan to release a full album in Korea. I will also show you Kim Hyun Joong as actor in the drama. I have another plan to start World tour at the end of the year. I will also release a single album in Japan. So it will be a very busy year for me. I hope that you will give me your support which will give me power when I feel tired.

It is expected that the upcoming drama that Kim HyunJoong is starring in 'City Conquest' might be unable to broadcast in the 3 major broadcasting channels (KBS, MBC, SBS) in Korea.
On 14th December, a representative from KBS broadcasting company revealed to StarNews that KBS will not be airing the drama City Conquest on their channel, stating, 'The production company for City Conquest, Media 100, have recently sent in their statement letter to KBS for the drama broadcast slot request. However after considering the drama from various point of views, we have decided that the drama is not suitable to be aired on KBS'.
It had also been revealed that the production company have also requested for the broadcast slot in MBC and SBS, however been rejected, given the reason being the storyline and the production cost are not compatible with the broadcasting stations and added that the filming for City Conquest have been halted.
On this matter, representative from Media 100 explained, 'Currently, we are still discussing about the broadcasting slot for City Conquest with KBS & we did not send our request for MBC & SBS broadcasting slot. However on last November 3rd, we did received news regarding whether we might be able to get the broadcasting slot from KBS. We will be discussing the relevant subject further with KBS broadcasting company's representative on 17th December'.
Regarding the reason why City Conquest filming have been halted, the representative added, 'As of now, the scriptwriter have been changed and we are amending the script, plus some of the casts are engaged with their busy schedules thus filming was temporarily stopped'.

I recieved a lot of support, and this is the song I have to thank for making the activity as Kim Hyun Joong started.
05: I'm Yours
The song which is arranged like Rock sound. I've prepared the dance which fits the sound, so this is like the trump song which I can make fans surprised someday.

It's the song gives me brightness to my stage. This is the ballad number (song) which I love.

The lyric of these 2 songs are the same, but it was made like Marry Me is as a man's feel, Marry You is as a woman's feel. These plays are different a little bit and these songs are special song, which I presented to fans, announced with different vers for each MVs in Korea.

The song is different from the image from Break Down, so I feel that I could express new image.
10: BREAK DOWN
(This is the song) I met the 1st one while (I'm looking for) my only music, color, and the song I could leave good result. For the point, the 1st song announced as "Kim Hyun Joong" in Korea, the song has the special meaning.
11: HEAT
I was so happy that I couldn't tell all, the encounter with B'z I've been longing for. Despite the new challenge, I could recieve the title as No.1 on ORICON, so (this song is) very emotional (for me).
Hyun joong says "This song is the precious chance for me to dig out real rock sound. I could join the new process, playing and arrangement,not only recording as a vocalist."
The MV of「Your Story」has been shot by HONG WONKI director (famous as creating Grils generation MVs) at 2 studios out of town in Seoul for 2 days.
The 1st day for the shooting was when he just came back to Korea from TV shooting late at night in China however he didn't make him look tired and joked each other with the director and staff in enjoyable atmosphere during the shooting.
Kim Hyun Joong also talks about this MV, "This time MV looks fantatic. It was shot by 2 different sets to creat the atmospher like a foreigh country. There is the scene that I play a guiter which is fresh for fans.
I could concentrate the shooting much more as I've done (in the past) because it was a short term, just only for 2 days. I think that the MV has many sides like I play a guitar and put my feeling expression. Please look for that."

1/ Look back Japan Debut in 2012
Q: How do you feel the year of 2012?
HJ: This year I could spend close to all of you (fans). Since the solo debut in Japan, I had much support, especially to the second album, “HEAT”. Having an opportunity to receive a song (both of lyrics and song) from B’z, a musician I have been longing for, I could challenge to a rock music, brandnew genre for me to which you gave a tremendous support. From personal viewpoint, it was a specially fruitful year for me. I hope that the first album to be released in December will make a success as well, and thus I will be able to close this year in a fantastic way.
Q: What was most impressive one?
HJ: Your question reminds me of so many things I had experienced in Japan like panorama. I particularly remember guerrilla live performance more than anything else. “Guerrilla performance” means that I show you performance at the venue where the conditions for permance are not satisfied, nor no security is assured. However, I could feel what I cannot feel on the stage. Fans also felt close to me. It is a pitty that I can only see them in a very short time, but I appreciate them for their passionate support they give each time I visit Japan.
2/ First Album, UNLIMIED
Q: Could you tell us about the album concept?
HJ: It is Rock Sound. The songs before “Heat” were mainly dance music, but this time, the new songs consist of live performance instrumentals suh as base, drum, and keyboard. The live rock sound is realized in this new album which is exactly I have been longing for.
Q: What kind of though did you put in the title “UNLIMIED” ?
HJ: Well I thought that I could not stay within the field I had been performing. I always like Rock and I have been thinking of stepping into this genre sometime. Beginning with Heat, I learned about genuine rock sound, and am ready to able to try many challenges now.
I would like to show you my wide music specifications and that is why I put the title
“ UNLIMITED” which means I do not stay within the existing framework.
Q: What are particular in the new album?
HJ: As I have always been communicating to you, there is no change that I want to be your “Only One” However, I would like to go further, not staying at the same place, but in order to continue to show you new style, I will do my best.
Q: The song list of the album seems to be the best selection. How did you choose songs ?
HJ: This first album consists of three new songs as well as those released before. I picked up the songs I am speicially attached to. I also wanted to select what all of you like the best.
3. Your Story
Different from Heat, “ Your Story” is a beautiful ballard , midtempo track. Could you explain about the production process ?
HJ: The original demonstration song of Your Story was a R&B with rap. In order to make difference from an ordinary ballard, I wanted to express a modern-rock feeling in it. Together with Mr. Kim Seong-lr, a basist of Daybreak, the famous modern rock bank in Korea, we presented many ideas, thus creating a completely brandnew song.
In the recording, Daybreak members played a guitar, base, and keyboard which was 100% satisfactory for me.
Q: You will work on MV shooting. What kind of image do you have in mind?
HJ: I will show you a movie with a fantasy taste, which is completely different from the image of the song. It will be the opposite one you will imagine. Please expect.
4. Save Today
Q: For “Save Today” I collaborated with many artists. Mr. Kim Seong-lr was in charge of an overall arrangement of the song, while Mr. Yang Hye Seung of Pia, a popular rock band being in charge of drum and rhythm. Further, Mr. Alex of DOWNTELL, representative heavy metal band of Korea, took the part of guitar performance and its arrangement, which is the core part of this song.
From composition to preparation and the recording, we spent the time most for this song. It was a precious experience for me to be involved in production together with them.
5. I’m Yours
Q: It is a magnicient scale music composition. It is not a straight-forward love song, but there seem to be a hidden message. Is there any hidden message in it?
HJ: In the lyrics of “ I’m Yours “, “ you “ means all of you, fans. The reason I can be here now is thanks to all of you.
Q: In the promotion pictures, you put many tattoo painting on your body. Did you come out with this idea by yourself?
HJ: Yes. Though it is not a real tattoo, but I just wanted to show a different image which I have never shown to the fans.
Q: In some of the pictures, you have a guiar. Was it your own ? You actually played a guitar during the shooting ?
I have a Gibson Les Paul, Fendar Standard and some acoustic-sound guitars.
While preparing for this album, I started a guitar lesson. Sometime in future, I would like to play a guitar suddenly in front of you. Please expect (laugh)
6. Miscellaneous
a) What is must for Christmas ?
HJ: I recommend to spend your Christomas with whom you love and my album^^
b) Next Year Plan
Any schedule has not yet been concrete. I just start Japan tour in January.
c) Objective as musian
Charity concert where I would like to invite the fans from all over the world.
I am not sure when I can realize but I always dream of this concert to express my appreciation to all of you. It will be nice if I could have one in the universe.
According to the news [OBS NEWS], An official of 'City Conquest' team said that they are aiming to air on January next year. Probably a follow-up or a replacement for the drama 'School' that is scheduled to broadcast on December 3rd at 9:55 KST in KBS2.
Kim Hyun Joong and his team has already started filming last July in Japan and started filming in Korea starting last September.
Kim Hyun Joong's agency stated "KHJ is working hard for the drama and at the same time getting ready for his album".
